About me
John Marty’s practice includes handling matters involving cybersecurity and privacy, including assisting higher education institutions that are experiencing a data breach. John also assists client’s in developing and ensuring that their data use policies and contracts comply with applicable law.
John maintains a litigation practice as well, managing matters involving white collar and government investigations and the representation of higher education clients in civil litigation as well. His experience with white collar cases includes assisting clients facing inquiries by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice and state investigative grand juries. For his higher education clients, John has investigated labor and employment disputes and handled sensitive legal matters involving Greek life.
